Wedding photography can be one of the most costly expenses when it comes to wedding planning. The reason is simple! Quality.
Professional photographers have expenses of their own such as: Carrying insurance, thousands of dollars in equipment, editing software, maintenance, all the bills to run/operate a small business, & most of all, time. We easily work over 40 hours a weeks just on photos alone & not including the actual session time. The saying, "you get what you pay for" applies to our field.
what to expect
What you can expect when you reach out to book
First, we will ask for your wedding date and venue date & location. If we are available we will send you a personal wedding link where you can pay the deposit, answer a fun questionnaire to get to know you as a couple, & sign the contracts. From there, we will book your engagement session! Two weeks prior to your wedding date we will plan a phone call meeting to discuss in detail & create a timeline! After the wedding, we will post a few sneak peeks a couple days after & you will receive your wedding box/digital album within 21 editing days!

Am I allowed to edit the photos?
To preserve the artistic integrity and signature editing style of Ashlyn Paige Photography, delivered images may not be altered, re-edited, or filtered in any way. Your gallery is professionally curated and carefully edited to reflect the experience and storytelling style our brand is known for.
You are welcome to download, print, and share your images with family and friends for personal use.
How much is the retainer to book?
To reserve your wedding date, a 20% non-refundable retainer and signed contract are required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your wedding day. Flexible payment options are available for all wedding collections.
How long does it take to get our photos delivered?
Every gallery is thoughtfully curated and individually hand-edited to reflect the emotion and artistry of your wedding day. Final wedding galleries are delivered within 6–8 weeks. Heirloom albums and physical artwork typically arrive within 1–2 months after production begins.
How do I book?
Simply reach out through our website or Facebook page to begin the booking process. Once availability is confirmed, a signed contract and 20% non-refundable retainer will officially reserve your wedding date.
When will you contact us regarding the wedding day after I booked?
From the moment your wedding date is reserved, we are available throughout the planning process for guidance and communication. Engagement sessions are scheduled at a time that best reflects your vision and preferred season. Approximately two weeks before the wedding day, we will meet to thoughtfully plan your timeline and finalize photography details to ensure a seamless experience.
What are your travel fees?
Weddings within two hours of our location are included at no additional cost.
For weddings beyond this range, custom travel accommodations may apply depending on location, lodging, and transportation needs. Destination wedding collections are quoted individually to provide the most seamless experience possible.
Who does the second shooting?
Ashlyn Paige Photography has a dedicated in-house team of second photographers who work directly alongside Ashlyn throughout the wedding season. Each photographer is carefully trained in the Ashlyn Paige Photography experience, shooting style, and workflow to ensure a seamless client experience and cohesive final gallery.
Do you require a monthly minimum for payments?
No, we do not! Weddings can be stressful and we want to ease that! We work with our brides budgets, big or small. After you book & pay the retainer, you have until 14 days prior to the wedding date to pay the remainder. Anytime between booking and then you can pay it in full or make payments (minimum of $100 per transaction) in your time using your personal link you receive at booking.
Why wait 2 weeks for a schedule and a finished list?
No monthly payment schedule is required. Following the initial retainer, couples are welcome to make flexible payments at any time leading up to the final balance due date, which is 14 days prior to the wedding day.
Can additional coverage be added?
To provide the best possible experience and maintain the quality of our work, wedding collections are designed with intentional coverage timelines. Additional hours are accommodated through collection upgrades, with full wedding day coverage available for up to ten hours.
What If I do not need an Engagement Session?
Engagement sessions are included as a complimentary part of the wedding experience, but participation is completely optional. Couples who choose not to use the session will still retain the same collection pricing and inclusions.
Why are RAW images not included?
RAW images are unprocessed files captured directly from the camera and are only one part of the artistic process. Editing plays a significant role in the final storytelling experience, which is why only professionally curated and fully edited images are delivered to clients.
Can you edit in a different style?
Ashlyn Paige Photography maintains a consistent signature editing style across all galleries to preserve the artistic identity and storytelling experience our brand is known for. Couples typically choose our work because they connect with the cinematic, emotional, and true-to-color style reflected throughout our portfolio.
Can I book your in-house hair and makeup artist for my wedding?
We proudly offer in-house bridal hair and makeup services through our trusted beauty artist, Amey. Her work is thoughtfully aligned with the Ashlyn Paige Photography aesthetic to provide a cohesive and elevated wedding morning experience. Availability and pricing are available upon inquiry.
Does your team follow a professional dress code?
Yes. All Ashlyn Paige Photography team members follow a professional dress code designed to remain polished, cohesive, and unobtrusive throughout the wedding day. Team attire consists of formal black professional wear branded with the Ashlyn Paige Photography logo.
Who will photograph our wedding?
Ashlyn Paige Photography is composed of a carefully selected team of lead photographers who photograph weddings under the Ashlyn Paige Photography brand and artistic direction. Every photographer on our team is professionally trained in our signature shooting style, client experience, and editing workflow to ensure a cohesive and elevated final gallery.

What retouching is included within our collection?
All final images include professional editorial retouching designed to enhance the overall polish and cohesiveness of your gallery while maintaining a natural appearance. Common retouching may include skin softening, temporary blemish removal, teeth whitening, distraction removal, and subtle detail refinements.
