Let me pull back the curtain and explain what you're really paying for when you book a professional wedding photographer:

That 8–10 hour wedding day? It's only a small piece of the puzzle. Behind the scenes, we spend 40–60+ hours per wedding editing, backing up files, prepping timelines, emailing, curating galleries, creating albums, and more.
2. Equipment is Pricey (and Necessary)
We shoot with top-of-the-line cameras, multiple lenses, lighting, backup gear, dual memory card systems for safety — and it all needs regular maintenance and upgrades. Quality gear = quality results.
3. Experience Matters
You're not just hiring someone to push a button. You're hiring someone who knows how to handle unpredictable lighting, timeline delays, family dynamics, and those unexpected curveballs — calmly and creatively. After 10+ years, I’ve truly seen it all.

A legit photography business has business insurance, editing software, gallery platforms, contracts, marketing costs, website fees, and a whole list of behind-the-scenes expenses that keep things running safely and professionally.
