Rain On Your Day
Weather Prep: What Happens if It Rains on Your Big Day?
Let’s talk about every bride’s low-key fear… RAIN.
First — take a deep breath. Because rain on your wedding day?
It’s not a disaster. It’s part of the story. And I’m ready for it.
Here’s how we prepare for it:
Backup Photo Plan
Before your day even begins, I scout covered areas, porches, indoor spots, and any hidden gems around your venue — just in case. I always have a Plan B (and C).
Clear Umbrellas = Magic
Rainy day tip: clear umbrellas photograph beautifully. I bring several with me just in case — because sometimes a drizzle + soft light = some of the most romantic photos you'll ever see.
Timeline Flexibility
I build room into your timeline for quick adjustments. If we need to pivot — we do it calmly and confidently. Your experience matters more than sticking to the minute.
Experience Counts
After photographing 275+ weddings, I’ve seen every kind of weather — and I know how to pivot fast, find light, and keep things moving without adding stress.
What rain doesn’t do:
Ruin your photos
Make your love story any less magical
Stop us from creating stunning, emotional, cinematic images
What it does do:
Add a little adventure
Create cozy, intimate vibes
Give you an unforgettable story to tell
So if the skies are gray — don’t panic.
You bring the love, and I’ll bring the umbrellas, the creativity, and the calm.
We’ve got this.
