An in Depth Look

My Editing Process Explained

A behind-the-scenes look at how your memories come to life.

As your photographer, the work doesn’t end when the last song plays and the sparklers fade. Once I leave your wedding, that’s when the magic behind the scenes begins.

Here’s what happens after I photograph your big day:

Step 1: Safe & Secure — The Night of the Wedding

Before I sleep, I immediately download all your images from my SD cards to multiple backup drives — including an external hard drive and cloud storage. Your memories are instantly protected in multiple places to ensure nothing is ever lost.

Step 2: The Cull — Sorting the Story

The next morning, I begin the culling process — carefully going through thousands of photos to select the very best. I choose the most meaningful, flattering, storytelling moments — every hug, glance, laugh, and quiet in-between.

Step 3: The Edit — Where the Magic Happens

Each chosen photo is edited by hand. I:

Balance light and tone

Smooth skin while keeping it natural

Adjust colors to match my cinematic, storytelling style

Use Photoshop when needed for distractions or enhancements

This process can take over 40 hours — and every minute is worth it to make your images truly shine.

Step 4: Your Gallery Is Ready — Fast Turnaround

While some photographers take months, I know you're eager to relive the magic — so I deliver your full digital gallery in just 2–3 weeks. Your photos are downloadable, shareable, and ready to print.

Every image you receive has been touched with care, intention, and love.

Because your story deserves more than a filter — it deserves to be told beautifully.
